I have childrens fingerprint cards and will be happy to do it for you at no charge. Just call 864-225-6424 an arrange a time.WHEN DO I GET MY PERMIT BACK The law states that SLED must return your permit within 90 days after your application is received in Columbia. The return time varies during the year but the average is about 7-8 weeks.Note: Because of 100% increase in applications since Jan. 1, 2009 the wait time now is about 90 days on new applications and 60 days on renewals.
YOUR SAFETY IS PRIORITY # 1. PLEASE MAKE SURE PISTOLS ARE UNLOADED AND AMMO REMAINS IN YOUR CAR. IN ACCORDANCE WITH SAFETY REGULATIONS INSTRUCTOR MUST INSPECT ALL FIREARMS AT THE DOOR FOR SAFETY BEFORE YOU BRING THEM INTO THE CLASSROOM .
We would like to thank the sponsors of the SKIPJ RANGE CLUB for allowing the use of their range for our CWP classes. Those interested in range membership can find info on the HELPFUL LINKS page on this website. While at the range everyone is asked to observe the rules of the range. Please review below:
I. Keep your UNLOADED pistol in your holster at all times until you are on the firing line and are told to load.
2. When on the firing line keep the pistol pointed down range ALWAYS when not in the holster.
3. Everyone is responsible for safety. If you see someone doing something unsafe IMMEDIATELY bring it to everyone's attention.
4. NO SMOKING . Smoking is allowed only in the posted SAFE AREA. This will be pointed out when you get to the range.
5. HEARING PROTECTION is required at all times except in the posted SAFE AREA.
6. Place all trash in trash cans before leaving.
7. Shooting at range props and anything other than the provided target is strictly prohibited.
8. Please note: We want everyone to be safe and we do not want to jeopardise our priviledge of using the SKIPJ Range. SLED requires instructors to consider diliberate unsafe acts with a firearm as a justification to refuse certifying the CWP application regardless of scores made.
NOTE: After completion of the range exercise you are welcome to walk around and look at the range facilities if you are interested in joining.
