Classes are offered on a monthly basis at a class fee of $75. The fee is dropped to $70 each if you bring a friend(s) with you. ( Note; There is a separate $50 processing fee required by SLED that you send in with your application after successful completion of the course ). We try to keep our class enrollment small and this enables you to get the entire class done in one day rather than having to schedule a second day for the range exercise. The fee includes notary work, targets, handouts, SkipJ Club range fee for each CWP student and refreshments. Fingerprints can be done at local law enforcement for a small fee but we are equiped to do them in the class for you at no additional charge. Also includes certification of State of Florida CWP application for those interested in applying for a Florida CWP. ( Be sure and request a Florida CWP application with your packet). There are NO additional charges for certifying Florida paperwork. I can send a FLORIDA application form by email attachment if requested but fingerprint cards for FLORIDA must be ordered from them. A link is on the "reciprocal states page". The FLORIDA packet is free.
Note: I am also equiped to do fingerprint cards for children. This is one of the best things we can do for our kids safety. There is no charge to do this. Call 864-225-6424 to make arrangements. Everything needed to get your SC CWP is done in class and in one day.
Once you have completed the initial certification class and you feel that you would like to return in the future for a refresher or just the range exercise you are welcome to come to any part or all of my future classes at NO CHARGE for attending as long as space is available. ( If you wish to go to the range with the class to shoot there is a small fee charged by the range. ) Just call ahead to reserve a spot at the class. RENEWAL INFORMATION: Your CWP is good for four years. Just like your Drivers License you must renew it but you do not take the class again unless you have not sent in renewal at least 60 days after expiration. SLED no longer sends out renewal notices so it is best to mark renewal time on your calendar at least three months before as it takes about 60 days to get your new permit back. You can renew by mail or online if there are no changes to info. Go to www.sled.sc.gov. to print form or renew online. You must provide credit card info to renew online.
SELF DEFENSE MERCHANDISE FOR SALE : I carry a limited inventory of the following self defense items that I sell to interested CWP students in my class for $15 each. There is a limit of one each of the four items per student but if you are interested in purchasing extra for friends or family I can order them for you and have the items to you in about three weeks.
